Woop Woop! ‘Real Talk About Healthy Living’ is UP & RUNNING!

Unless you’re a blogger and have spent the last few months reading TONS of material on how to run a blog, like me, you might not understand just how HUGE this is…

Let me break it down for you:

ALL the major social media platforms are a great way to get blogs in front of potential readers. But because everyone and their mama is trying to be a social media entrepreneur these days, most of these sites have had to re-do their algorithms to make sure only the worthwhile stuff gets through.

This is great news for you, the user, because now you’re kind of protected from spammy shit you don’t want to see. But it kinda sucks for us entrepreneurs because now we have to do a bunch of extra shit in order to get seen by you.

Not that I’m complaining. I’ve always been willing to work for what I get, and I always feel icky when I feel like things are being given to me “for free”.

Plus, I LOVE social media. I’m usually all up and down Facebook and Instagram anyways, so I figured, why NOT create a Facebook group to promote my blog? Just means I get to spend more time on the computer thinking about my career!

Anyway, enough about all that. Unless you want to become a blogger yourself, you won’t be AT ALL interested in that stuff. Let’s talk about how this benefits YOU.

What’s In It For You?

As you may or may not know, blogs can’t just exist

Well, they can, but they really don’t become much of anything without people to read them. And these readers usually read them so that they can glean something from them:

  • Important life tips
  • How-tos
  • Life hacks
  • Educational materials…

…the list goes on.

But unless you, the reader, know exactly where to look and when to look, you could miss something crucial.

Enter closed Facebook group.

When you join your favorite bloggers’ Facebook group(s), you get to keep up with everything they’re doing. This is a place where they’ll post their new blog posts, exclusive promotions, products, services, etc.

Now, I’m not assuming that I’m one of your favorite bloggers, but I’m hoping that you like me at least a little bit.

And if you do, then you TOTALLY need to join my new Facebook group.

Here’s why…

Be the FIRST to know when I post a new blog post or offer a new service.

Like most groups these days, this Facebook group is CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. This means that unless I invite you or approve your request to join, you won’t see JACK that goes on in there.

Think of it like a neat little club that only you and a few other people will ever have access to.

I hope that makes you feel special. It should.

Interact & Ask Questions DIRECTLY…

Remember when I said that I was on Facebook & Instagram A LOT? Well, now I’ll be spending a majority of that time hanging out in my group, moderating posts and answering questions.

So you can always ask me a question on the group wall or even shoot me a DM, and I’ll answer.

FULL Of Like-Minded People…

Like I said, this is a closed group. Which means people can only get in on request if they answer the intro questions and I’m satisfied with their answers.

I fully intend to make sure that this group is filled with people who are interested in at least 1 or more of the topics we’ll talk about in the group.

So between me and the other group members, SOMEONE will be able to answer your question.

You may even get multiple solutions/suggestions to solving your problem…good stuff!

Safe Place FREE Of Judgment…

Here, in this Facebook group dedicated to living a healthier, happier life, a**holes don’t get to make the rules…I do.

And I can promise you that no trolls will be tolerated. It’s even in the group rules at the top of the page.

How can I make such a lofty promise? Well, I’ll be moderating literally EVERYTHING that goes up on that group wall. Any post that violates the group rules won’t make it past me.

And any comments that you feel are made in poor taste? Hit me up. I’ll take a look at it and make sure that the person in question is dealt with accordingly.

So you can rest assured that you can ask questions and have a productive discussion with other members of the group, free of unnecessary judgment.

Learn Things You May Not Have Known Before…

This has to be my favorite part…

I like to think of myself as a philosopher at heart; I like to ask questions more than answer them. This is because I know that I can’t possibly know the answer to everything, not even as it pertains to my blog niche. So it’s always interesting to see what other people are thinking and talking about.

If you’re anything like me and you’re interested in veganism and healthy living, then you need- I repeat, NEED– to join this Facebook group.

For one thing, it won’t be exclusively vegan.

That’s right.

I believe in uniting people on things they have in common and starting discussions about the things they don’t.

So if you’re a hard-core vegan who can’t tolerate people who eat eggs and meat…then this ain’t the group for you.

If you’re a person who eats eggs and meat and you can’t tolerate a vegan simply enjoying being vegan…then this ain’t the group for you.

But if you’re either type of person and would like to pick the other person’s brain…shoot in a request and let’s get to chatting!

Now who’s with me?

I can’t promise that this group or my blog will fix all your problems with health, life, and fitness.

Hell, NO ONE can ever promise a thing like that. Not even your doctor.

What I CAN promise is that this group will be the start of a healthy dialogue regarding all of these topics. And it’s gonna be fun and enriching for all.

So if you haven’t clicked the link above and sent in your join request already, here’s your second chance to do it:

Real Talk About Healthy Living Facebook Group.

This is gonna be a fun ride…

See you on the other side!
